Job summary

Bending Spoons is seeking a proactive in-house Intellectual Property Counsel to help shape our IP strategy and protect our fast-growing portfolio across jurisdictions. You’ll review, draft, and negotiate technology and IP agreements while providing practical legal guidance to product, commercial, and acquisition decisions.

You’ll also build scalable legal tools with AI-powered workflows and stay ahead of evolving regulations.

Qualifications

Must have a law degree and practiced at a law firm or in-house counsel.
Excellent English proficiency in speaking, reading and writing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a first-principles mindset.
Ability to work across product, commercial and regulatory matters.

Responsibilities

Shape our intellectual property strategy and manage the portfolio across jurisdictions.
Harvest inventions, trade secrets, copyrights, trademarks, designs, and database rights; drive portfolio decisions and prosecution.
Run IP disputes and enforcement with external counsel; ensure high standards of work.
Draft and negotiate technology and IP agreements; apply judgment to terms and risk.
Provide practical legal advice on product decisions, commercial transactions, and acquisitions.
Build scalable legal tools and AI-powered workflows to support high-growth operations.
Monitor regulatory developments and identify opportunities to unlock value.
