Ookla is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to own the iOS SDKs (CQoE and Speedtest) used by telecom partners and internal apps. You will work across Swift, Objective-C, C++, and Kotlin Multiplatform boundaries to deliver robust network measurement features.

You will collaborate on the shared measurement engine, explore AI-assisted tooling, and maintain high-quality APIs while ensuring security and privacy. Open to expanding into Android and embedded domains as needed.

Formación

• 5+ years of software development experience and strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Proven experience with iOS development in Swift.
• Extensive experience building and maintaining SDKs or libraries.
• Strong data literacy: SQL proficiency to investigate production and measurement data, plus Python for analysis.
• Curiosity toward AI and modern engineering practices.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and data analysis skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain network measurement features in the iOS SDKs (CQoe and Speedtest) used by partners and internal apps.
• Develop and maintain the shared C++ measurement engine across platforms with debugging and gradual improvement.
• Work on the Kotlin Multiplatform project for new SDKs and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Introduce AI-assisted tooling with appropriate safety, privacy, security, and verification guardrails.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and end-to-end delivery ownership for features and fixes.
• Gate changes behind feature flags, run quality checks, and verify post-release behavior aligns with intent.
