Nextpower in Madrid is seeking a Sr. Supply Planner - Inverters to translate the 52-week finished-goods plan into detailed component demand and supply plans for inverter scope.

You will validate capacity, secure material readiness and provide early visibility to risks affecting delivery and cost. You will lead cross-functional collaboration with Sourcing, Engineering and Production, manage long-lead items, and drive planning KPIs to ensure on-time project milestones across utility-scale solar

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Fluent English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• 8–12 years of experience in supply planning, master scheduling, materials planning, or related fields.
• Experience in power electronics, inverters, solar or similar industries preferred.
• Experience managing multi-tier supply chains with long‑lead components.
• Strong understanding of demand and supply planning, capacity management and MRP.

Responsabilidades

• Own and maintain the 52-week component demand plan by translating the approved high-level finished-goods demand plan into requirements for Level 1 components and Level 2 sub-assemblies.
• Reconcile component demand against supplier and CM capacity, lead times, inventory and open supply commitments.
• Develop and share the demand plan with Level 0 and Level 1 suppliers, including full-skid suppliers and suppliers of standalone inverters, transformers and switchgear.
• Plan selected Level 2 sub-assemblies managed within Planning, including PCBAs and power modules.
• Provide feedback to Demand Planning when constraints require a review of the finished-goods plan.
• Identify changes in lead times, capacity, material availability and other conditions that may change the plan.
• Ensure long-lead items are identified and incorporated into forecast, risk-buy or planning mechanisms.
• Quantify supply gaps and provide early alerts on potential impacts to production and delivery dates.
• Develop recovery options with the owner and elevate with impact statements and decisions.
• Translate allocation guidelines into allocation recommendations by supplier, region or project.
• Coordinate allocation decisions with Sourcing, Demand Planning, Delivery Managers and leadership.
• Track supplier/CM commitments against the commodity plan and manage deviations.
• Support risk‑buy and pre-positioning decisions with demand, timing and supply-gap analysis.
• Establish reporting from CMs and suppliers to monitor forecast consumption and open requirements.
• Review weekly supplier/CM updates and validate capacity against evidence.
• Provide a consolidated view from demand through supplier readiness.
