Kleinanzeigen is seeking a Senior Internal Platforms Engineer to own the design, optimization, and secure operation of critical business systems, focusing on collaboration platforms and IAM. You will lead complex projects, set standards, and drive automation with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with collaboration platforms.
• 3+ years with IAM solutions.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and compliance.
• Skilled in automation using Bash, Python and APIs.
• Experience with cloud/hybrid environments (AWS, GCP).
• Familiar with PCI, NIS2, SOX, GDPR standards.
• Experience in ITSM, process optimization and service delivery.
• Proficient in leveraging AI for automation.
• Excellent technical communication and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder management with central and agency stakeholders.
• Maintain and optimize IT tooling landscape (Google Workspace, HRIS/HiBob, Slack, JIRA, Confluence, MIRO, JetBrains, Microsoft 365).
• Improve process workflows and service delivery.
• Implement automation to enhance collaboration and UX.
• Manage IAM applications and integrations for security and scalability.
• Develop and enforce security policies and compliance frameworks.
• Design and maintain retention automation for data governance.

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Internal Platforms Engineer (d/f/m) to join our team. In this senior role, you will take ownership of the design, optimization, and secure operation of our critical business systems, with a focus on collaboration platforms and Identity & Access Management (IAM). You will lead complex projects and act as a technical authority, collaborating with cross-functional teams to set standards, drive automation, and deliver innovative solutions that support our business objectives.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years with collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace)
• 3+ years with IAM solutions (e.g. Okta, Sailpoint, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, compliance, and data retention
• Skilled in automation (Bash, Python, APIs) and cloud/hybrid environments (AWS, GCP)
• Familiar with compliance standards (e.g. PCI, NIS2, SOX, GDPR)
• Experienced in ITSM tools, process optimization, and service delivery
• Proficient in leveraging AI for automation and smart solutions
• Strategic, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
• Systems thinking and holistic solution design
• Expert technology advice
• Strong technical communication and troubleshooting

Job responsibilities
