Position Overview :
We are looking for an experienced and talented Senior Interior Architect to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and leading high-end interior projects worldwide, both independently and in collaboration with the team. The role involves creating and developing design concepts from start to finish, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with the overall vision.
1. Responsibilities :
- Build and maintain client relationships, including regular visits to clients and project sites.
- Ensure clear and effective communication with suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders to support seamless collaboration.
- Produce complete design packages, including technical drawings — taking responsibility for concept development, full drawing sets, specification writing, schedules, presentations, material sourcing, and construction documentation.
- Oversee and supervise on-site implementation to ensure the design is executed to the highest standards, maintaining both quality and compliance throughout the process.
- Contribute to both project development and office activities as a Senior Team Member.
- Lead residential projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget control, and the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with the design team, offering technical guidance and resolving challenges.
- Maintain consistent communication with all stakeholders to ensure efficient problem-solving and project progress.
- Work closely with management and report directly to the Head of Design.
- Stay up to date on trends, materials, technologies, and sustainable practices within interior design.
2. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
- 5–10 years of experience in architecture and/or interior design, with at least four years in high-end residential projects.
- Full proficiency in CAD (ArchiCAD- strongly recommended), SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English (Spanish or other languages is a plus).
- Valid driver’s license.
3. Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of interior architecture, including space planning, construction documentation, and material specification.
- Experience working on projects across all stages—from concept to completion.
- Proficient in producing detailed technical drawings, specifications, schedules, and presentation materials.
- Strong FF&E knowledge, including sourcing, specification, and supplier relations.
- Exceptional eye for scale, proportion, color, materials, and bespoke detailing.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, architects, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Confident in problem-solving and resolving technical/design challenges.
- Comfortable with on-site supervision to ensure quality and design alignment.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deadlines.
- Creative thinker with initiative, team spirit, and a passion for design innovation.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
