As a Senior Innovation Consultant in our Transport & Mobility team, you will be at the forefront of shaping sustainable and intelligent transport systems across Europe. You'll transform innovative ideas into high-impact, EU-funded R&D projects — collaborating with industry leaders, research centres, and public institutions to advance future mobility.

Your Mission

You will lead the identification, development, and implementation of innovative mobility and logistics projects. By combining deep sector knowledge with strategic funding insight, you will help clients bring ambitious concepts to life through public funding. Your Tasks

• Develop project ideas in collaboration with partners across the mobility and logistics value chain
• Draft high-quality EU grant proposals aligned with strategic funding frameworks (e.g., Horizon Europe, CEF, LIFE)
• Coordinate EU-funded R&D projects from concept to execution, including planning, analysis, and reporting
• Provide senior-level innovation consulting to clients including corporates, institutions, and public bodies
• Conduct market and stakeholder analyses to support strategy, business modelling, and exploitation planning
• Stay ahead of trends and policies in CCAM, 2ZERO, ITS, and connected infrastructure
• Guide and mentor junior consultants, fostering their professional growth
• Actively contribute to team learning and PNO’s evolving portfolio of innovation services

Your Profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in innovation, consultancy, or related roles in transport, mobility, or logistics
• Expertise in CCAM and / or 2ZERO themes (e.g., autonomous driving, electric vehicles, ITS, sustainable fuels)
• Proven experience with European R&D funding programmes (Horizon 2020 / HEU, LIFE, Innovation Fund, CEF)
• Educational background in engineering, urban planning, energy systems, or logistics
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strategic mindset with hands-on project leadership capabilities
• Comfortable working in multicultural, remote, and cross-functional environments
• Willing to travel within Europe for client meetings, events, and team gatherings
