Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Senior Information Security Infrastructure Engineer to own the data pipeline for security telemetry. You will ingest, process, and secure telemetry across Elastic clusters, ensuring end-to-end data quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate Elastic and Elasticsearch in production
• Experience with ingest pipelines, index templates, mappings, and queries to keep clusters healthy and upgraded
• Proven experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native tooling for deployments

Responsibilities

• Security telemetry ingestion: build and maintain ingestion of security data into Elasticsearch
• Manage end-to-end ingestion pipelines from sources to indices and detection/query layers
• Keep Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes clusters healthy and up-to-date
• Manage ILM, CCS, and cluster capacity/shards inventories
• Use Terraform to manage cloud infrastructure and Elasticsearch resources
• Develop and maintain ingestion scripts in Python and automation tooling for reliability
• Collaborate with DoD-compliant cloud environments and ensure data schemas are consistent
