Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Industrial Engineer to join our client’s team in the Eastern Cape on a hybrid basis, blending on-site process optimization with remote data analysis and strategy development.

You will lead complex improvement initiatives across manufacturing and operations, driving Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and cut costs while mentoring junior engineers and reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, analysis, and implementation of process improvements in manufacturing and operations.
• Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
• Utilize data analysis and simulation techniques to model and optimize processes.
• Mentor junior industrial engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Develop and track KPIs; prepare reports for senior management; ensure safety and quality standards.
