A leading technology company in Tres Cantos is seeking a Senior IaC Engineer to technically lead the development of Infrastructure as Code solutions. The ideal candidate will have expert-level skills in Terraform and a solid background in Ansible, guiding architectural decisions to ensure deployment and operational success. This role offers a hybrid working model with flexible hours and personal development support, including training and language learning.

Formación

• Expert-level Terraform experience required, with strong CI/CD integration skills.
• Strong background in Ansible and its orchestration features.
• Experience with cloud providers and hybrid environments.
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of IaC testing tools (Terratest, checkov, tflint, ansible-lint).

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and maintenance of Infrastructure as Code.
• Participate in client meetings for expert guidance.
• Automate infrastructure lifecycle from provisioning to maintenance.
• Ensure full automation of the infrastructure lifecycle from provisioning to maintenance.
• Enforce DevOps practices: CI/CD, testing, GitOps and security.
• Lead standardization and reuse of IaC components.
• Coordinate with dev, operations, cybersecurity and networking teams.

Senior IaC Engineer (Infrastructure as Code)

We are looking for a senior professional with strong technical leadership skills, deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and a clear DevOps mindset. The ideal candidate will guide architectural decisions, interact directly with the client, and ensure deployment, security and operational requirements are met throughout the project.

Responsibilities

• Technically lead the design, development and maintenance of the project’s Infrastructure as Code, ensuring end‑to‑end automation and reproducible deployments.
• Actively participate in client meetings, providing expert guidance and aligning architecture and operational decisions with functional, security and performance requirements.
• Design and implement IaC architecture across multi‑cloud, hybrid or on‑premise environments.
• Ensure full automation of the infrastructure lifecycle, from provisioning to maintenance.
• Enforce consistent DevOps practices: CI/CD, quality controls, automated testing, GitOps and integrated security.
• Lead standardization, modularization and reuse of robust and scalable IaC components.
• Coordinate with development, operations, cybersecurity and networking teams to ensure seamless delivery.

Qualifications

• Expert‑level Terraform (HCL) experience: modules, workspaces, state management, state security and CI/CD integration.
• Strong background in Ansible: roles, playbooks, dynamic inventories, collections, orchestration and performance optimization.
• Experience designing reproducible, immutable and modular infrastructures.
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of IaC testing tools (terratest, checkov, tflint, ansible‑lint).
• Artifact management, semantic versioning and repository best practices.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Professional experience with at least one major cloud provider.
• Understanding of hybrid environments with virtualization technologies (VMware, OpenStack).
