Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Madrid region seeks a Senior I&C instructor to deliver high-quality technical training on Instrumentation & Control for nuclear plants. You will develop materials and conduct classroom, lab, and hands-on sessions, collaborating with the global I&C Training team.

You will report to the Operations and Technical Training Manager and be based at our San Sebastián de los Reyes HQ, with hybrid on-site/remote work and travel as needed.

Formación

• Technical or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years in Instrumentation & Control, plant ops, maintenance, engineering, commissioning, or related environments.
• Experience in technical training, documentation, or knowledge transfer.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Experience teaching and developing technical talent.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsabilidades

About the role:

As a Senior I&C instructor you will you will help deliver high-quality technical training programs focused on Instrumentation & Control systems for nuclear power plants. You will combine your technical expertise in teaching to develop training materials and deliver engaging classroom, laboratory, and practical training sessions. You will be part of a global I&C Training team, working with colleagues in both Spain and the United States to ensure training programs reflect operational needs, industry best practices. This is a full-time job with a hybrid mode with a mix of on-site and remote work.

You will report to the Operations and Technical Training Managerand be located at our HQ in San Sebastián de los Reyes.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and review technical training materials for Instrumentation & Control systems.
• Support the digitalization of training programs by providing technical expertise for the development and adaptation of instructional content to new learning platforms and digital training tools.
• Deliver classroom, laboratory, and practical training sessions to internal and external audiences.
• Prepare, administer, and evaluate examinations and trainee performance.
• Apply adult learning principles instructional techniques to enhance knowledge retention and engagement.
• Incorporate operating experience, lessons learned, and industry best practices into training programs.
• Maintain training records and documentation within learning management systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to ensure technical accuracy of training content.
• Support qualification programs and workforce development plans.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of training materials, methods, and processes.
• Provide technical support to company partners and customers.

Qualifications:

• Technical degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Instrumentation & Control, plant operations, maintenance, engineering, commissioning, or related industrial environments.
• Knowledge of Instrumentation & Control systems and industrial processes.
• Experience in technical training, technical documentation, or knowledge transfer activities.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with teaching and developing technical talent.
• Customer-focused mindset and collaborative approach.
• Availability for occasional international travel.
