Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Chemistry Instructor to participate in all training stages for personnel at the Asco and Vandellos nuclear plants. The role is full-time and on-site at the Hospitalet de l'Infant training school.

Applicants should hold a Chemistry-related degree, demonstrate pedagogical abilities, and have English above B2, with willingness to travel nationally and internationally. Residence near Hospitalet de l'Infant is preferred.

About the role:

As a Chemistry Instructor, you will participate in all stages of the training process (SAT). These stages include analysis and development of initial and training courses. The training courses are for personnel at the Asco and Vandellos nuclear power plants. This is a full-time job.

You will report to the Training School Supervisor of ANAV and be located at the training school of Hospitalet de L'Infant. This is an on-site position.

Main Responsibilities:

• During the initial training period, you will be qualify as Chemistry Instructor for PWR technology plants.
• Once qualified, you will work as a Chemistry Instructor.
• You will accomplish both training and Consulting and Technical Support tasks for electric power generating plants.
• The team will integrate you into a work team, with and autonomy, in constant communication and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Graduates of a Bachelor or Master's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineer.
• Pedagogical capacity for training.
• Availability to establish residence in Hospitalet de l'Infant (Work Center) or nearby.
• Availability to participate in other Westinghouse projects in the domestic or international area
• Driver's license and availability of own vehicle.
• We will assess the following:
  • 1+ year of experience in Nuclear Technology or in analytical chemistry, industrial chemistry...
  • Knowledge in managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and video editing tools.
  • Experience in digital environments.
  • Experience in power plants or industrial facilities.
  • English level above B2.
  • Availability to travel and stay in national and international locations during participation in projects sporadically.
