To take our next big leap, we’re looking for a passionate and experienced HR Manager to join us in Málaga, where our new office will be ready in a few month. In this role, you’ll have the rare opportunity to build and lead core HR processes from the ground up ; everything from compliance and policies to people engagement and talent development. You’ll be a key partner to leadership and an essential part of Oscar’s journey as we grow our team and our impact.

Your Responsibilities

  • HR Operations : Manage employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, offboarding, contract management, and administrative HR processes.
  • Payroll Oversight : Coordinate payroll preparation for multiple locations in collaboration with local payroll providers and finance. We are currently moving the payroll into one tool to streamline processes.
  • Employee Support : Be a trusted point of contact for employee queries on HR topics and support local teams and managers with daily HR matters.
  • Compliance & Policies : Ensure compliance with local labor laws and GDPR, working closely with legal and leadership when needed.
  • Process Improvement : Help build and optimize scalable HR processes for a growing international company.
  • Performance & Development : Support in planning and running performance reviews and talent development initiatives.
  • Cross-Location Collaboration : Work closely with our teams in Munich, Ede, Aarhus and other countries to ensure consistent and people-focused HR support.
  • Recruiting : Take ownership of our recruiting cycle to ensure quality in future hires in the Oscar group.

What You Bring

  • At least 4–6 years of experience in a higher HR role.
  • Strong working knowledge of labor law and HR practices.
  • Experience in a fast-paced or international environment is a plus.
  • Fluent communication skills in English.
  • A structured, hands-on mindset with attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Familiarity with HRIS tools and digital workflows (we love automation!).
