Workato is seeking an exceptional Senior Go Engineer to join the Workato Genie team. You will develop mission-critical features and services for the platform, including AI chatbot dispatching and balancing synchronous and asynchronous AI execution.

You will build high-performance gateways, routing components, and server-side infrastructure for logging and monitoring. Collaborate with Infra and SRE teams to ensure high availability and scalability requirements are addressed.

Formación

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• 8+ years of industry experience.
• Strong experience with Go language at backend (4+ years).
• Excellent debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and social skills.
• Good understanding of large web application building blocks: databases, load balancers, application servers, message brokers, caching, monitoring.
• Experience with building and scaling distributed, highly available systems.
• Ruby on Rails experience is a plus.
• Contributions to open-source projects are a plus.
• Understanding of bottlenecks in code and solutions.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and configuration.

Responsabilidades

• Work with the AI team to design and implement features for a new AI assistant.
• Contribute at all phases of the development lifecycle.

• Evaluate and propose improvements to the existing system.
• Investigate alternatives and technologies and present them for architectural review.
