Oliver Bernard is helping a fast-growing AI scale-up recruit a Senior Backend Engineer to design and scale the core systems behind an AI-driven automation platform. You will join a small, high-impact team building event-driven microservices that underpin enterprise-grade AI products.

Required: Go or Python, Kafka and event-driven architectures, SQL/NoSQL, Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD with GitHub Actions. Salary up to €95K plus share options.

Formación

• Proficiency in Go or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Solid understanding of SQL & NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern engineering workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate backend systems for an AI-driven automation platform.
• Design and optimise event-driven systems with Apache Kafka.
• Contribute to a microservices environment.
• Collaborate with AI teams to integrate LLMs and reasoning engines.
• Work with GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines and observability tools.
