Job summary

Welocalize Life Sciences is seeking a Project Manager to oversee planning, execution and closure of client projects. You will coordinate with the global team to craft client solutions aligned with Welocalize’s pillars of quality, service and innovation.

The ideal candidate will build strong relationships across the project team, adapt to a dynamic environment, and drive successful outcomes while maintaining profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Proven project management experience in a fast-paced, client-centric environment, ideally in translation or localization.
• Knowledge of the translation industry and its technology, processes, landscape and trends.
• Proven success at managing large accounts and/or projects.
• Curiosity and creativity to question existing processes and innovate.
• Proven experience in development of processes and ideas.
• Experience in financial management and budget to actual management.
• Customer relationship management and business development skills to drive organic growth.
• Ability and willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Project planning, scoping, requirements gathering and validation with client.
• Identify and work with client/internal stakeholders to plan resources for quality, cost, and schedule.
• Perform risk analysis and contingency planning.
• Lead internal and external teams to successful delivery of client projects.
• Create schedules and monitor timeliness of delivery.
• Manage budgets and control project costs.
• Establish and nurture relationships with customers and teams.
• Oversee project activities and resolve issues (corrective/preventive actions).
• Seek ways to optimize delivery, client satisfaction, quality and profitability.
• Provide regular reporting on scope, financials, progress and status.
