Overview

We’re seeking a highly experienced Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our Development team building and supporting Plytix PIM. The team is based in Malaga, with remote options available and location not restricted to the office.

What’s the opportunity?

Contribute to a leading multichannel platform within an expanding scale-up, applying your ideas and coding experience to help grow the product and the team.

What will you be doing?

Collaborate on service designs to ensure they are scalable and robust. Implement designs following the latest patterns and best practices. Participate in scrum ceremonies and stay aligned with the team on pull requests and user stories.

Progression

After 1 month : You’ll have a good grasp of our tools and processes. Your code will begin to flow, you’ll review user stories, and take on small tasks. You’ll participate in peer reviews with QA to ensure quality before delivery.

After 3 months : You’re becoming a true Plytix dev, evaluating and estimating user stories, writing tests, and working more independently while still receiving some supervision. You’ll participate in sprints and integrate into the team’s workflow.

6 months in : You’re fully integrated, collaborating with other departments to deliver high-quality, fast-running code. You’ll review and approve others’ code following our standards and mentor junior developers.

Responsibilities

• At least 8 years of work experience in web software development
• 5+ years of experience in frontend technologies
• Proven experience in Angular2+ frontend development (4+ years)
• Proven experience in Python backend web development (7+ years)
• Strong Python 3+ foundations (parallelism, concurrency, generators, decorators, etc.)
• High level of knowledge of RxJs and how it works under the hood
• Strong vanilla JavaScript foundations
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Linux as the operating system

You might also have

• Experience in message brokers like RabbitMQ
• Understanding of cloud-native distributed systems and microservices

Nice to have

• Experience with Web Components and CI/CD tools
• Knowledge of Micro Frontends with Angular (SingleSPA or similar)
