Job summary

bsport is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join the Booking team. You will lead design decisions with Product and Design, handle high-volume data, and ensure scalable, maintainable solutions.

You will collaborate with Customer teams, participate in AI-enabled workflows, and drive improvements across frontend and backend stacks. We value ownership, learning, and teamwork in a hybrid/remote Europe setup.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python; Django is a plus.
• Experience building at scale with large user bases.
• Professional English communication required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design decisions with Product and Design to balance product needs, technical feasibility, and long-term scalability.
• Deliver robust, maintainable code and evolve CI/CD practices; participate in code reviews and testing.
• Provide technical mentorship to peers and foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
• Collaborate with Customer teams to understand client issues and resolve them promptly; monitor alerts and improve observability.
• Resolve production incidents, document learnings, and drive improvements across teams.
• Participate in cross-team chapters to push frontend/backend improvements and best practices.

About the role:

Joining our Booking team means joining the most product oriented team at bsport. You’ll need to demonstrate strong engineering skills, but also a user centric approach of building product, a true sensibility about User Experience and above all that a capacity to work efficiently in a product team. The scope of the team represents more than 60% of the traffic and encapsultates:

• Managing classes, waiting lists, teacher subsitutions, late cancellations etc…
• Managing 1-1 appointments, resource availabilities, calendar display etc…
• Managing our pass and credits system to create bookings
• Integrating and maintaining communication with third-party aggregators (ie softwares offering bsport's classes on their own platforms)
• Evolving our Access Control solutions for self service gyms

What will be your impact:

As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will:

• Lead the design of your solutions collaborating with Product and Design, handling constraints (high-volume data, by client data segregation, delivery timeline…) and ensure a balance between immediate product requirements, technical feasibility, and long-term scalability.
• Deliver robust, efficient, and maintainable code using AI processes. Participate in evolving our best practices for code reviews, testing, and continuous integration & delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and share knowledge with less experienced engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.
• Collaborate closely with Customer teams to understand clients issues and solve them in a timely manner. Monitor and improve our alerting system to anticipate issues as early as possible.
• Solve production incidents, analyse those afterwards, redact clear documents to share internally and externally, and drive actions to continuously learn and improve on those.
• Participate in our cross-team “chapters”, providing innovative solutions and improvements to our frontend or backend stacks, advocating for best practices.

You would be great fit if you have:

You have substantial experience Python (Django is a plus)

• You are comfortable on challenging a implementation from the data model diagrams to the networking
• You have experience working at scale, serving dozen of millions of users
• You are, of course, professionally proficient in English
• You are not afraid of taking ownership to build exceptional products, including on design and product decision.
• You love domain-driven development, and understands interface purity has its limit.
• You want to lead across boundaries, and scale your impact to the organisation
• You understand both how powerful and how dangerous AI-assisted workflows can be, and want to redefine the barriers of what is doable
