Remote within Spain. For candidates located in Barcelona, we offer a flexible hybrid model with 2 days per week onsite, the rest remote. Contract: full time / indefinite. Language(s): English is required (C1); German is a strong plus.

About the role :

As a Fullstack ABAP Cloud Developer at Serrala, you will design and build innovative SAP-based solutions to streamline payment and finance processes, enhancing cash visibility for our clients.

Your Day to Day :

• Requirement Analysis: Analyze requirements, collaborate with the product owner to design solutions, clarify dependencies, and communicate effectively.
• Solutioning / Designing: Engage in and own the technical design process, including documentation, impact analysis, and proof of concept creation.
• Execution Excellence: Break down user stories, set timelines, write clean and efficient code, maintain documentation, and ensure readiness for production.
• Business Agility: Actively participate in agile practices.
• Collaboration: Collaborate actively, participate in organization-wide initiatives, and mentor junior team members.

What makes you excel in this position :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience with ABAP-OO, OData, REST.
• 2+ years of experience with SAPUI5 Freestyle Apps and FIORI Elements Apps.
• Strong experience in designing and developing business applications.
• Proven track record in implementing and provisioning ABAP Cloud applications, including extensive experience with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Skilled in defining behaviors in managed and unmanaged scenarios, creating and managing CDS views, business objects, and data modeling using Core Data Services.
• Knowledge of SAP Clean-Core Principles and transitioning ABAP Classic to ABAP Cloud applications.
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). ABAP Runtime experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English; German is advantageous.
• Experience working in AGILE environments is a plus.
