Remote within Spain. For candidates located in Barcelona, we offer a flexible hybrid model with 2 days per week onsite, the rest remote. Contract: full time / indefinite. Language(s): English is required (C1); German is a strong plus.

About the role :

As a Fullstack ABAP Cloud Developer at Serrala, you will design and build innovative SAP-based solutions that streamline payment and finance processes to improve cash visibility for our clients.

Your Day to Day :

• Requirement Analysis : Analyze requirements, design solutions together with the product owner, clarify and communicate dependencies.
• Solutioning / Designing : Engage in and own the technical design process, including documentation, impact analysis, and proof of concept creation.
• Execution Excellence : Break down user stories, set timelines, write clean and efficient code, maintain documentation, and ensure readiness for production.
• Business Agility : Actively engage in agile practices.
• Collaboration : Collaborate actively, participate in initiatives at the organizational level, mentor junior team members.

What makes you excel in this position :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of work experience with ABAP-OO, OData, REST.
• 2+ years of work experience with SAPUI5 Freestyle Apps and FIORI Elements Apps.
• Highly experienced in the design and development of business applications.
• Proven track record in the implementation and provisioning of ABAP Cloud applications, especially with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming model (RAP).
• Skilled in defining and implementing behaviors in both managed and unmanaged scenarios.
• Proficient in creating and managing CDS views, business objects, and data modeling using Core Data Services.
• Knowledge of SAP Clean-Core Principles and experience transitioning ABAP Classic into ABAP Cloud applications.
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). ABAP Runtime is a plus.
• Fluent in English; German is advantageous.
• Working experience in AGILE environments is an advantage.
