For candidates in Barcelona, we offer a flexible hybrid model with 2 days onsite per week, the rest remote.

About the role:

As a Fullstack ABAP Cloud Developer at Serrala, you will design and build innovative SAP-based solutions that streamline payment and finance processes, enhancing cash visibility for our clients.

Your Day-to-Day:

1. Requirement Analysis: Analyze requirements, design solutions with the product owner, clarify dependencies.
2. Solution Design: Engage in and own the technical design process, including documentation, impact analysis, and proof of concept creation.
3. Execution Excellence: Break down user stories, set timelines, write clean and efficient code, maintain documentation, and ensure readiness for production.
4. Business Agility: Actively participate in agile practices.
5. Collaboration: Collaborate actively, participate in organizational initiatives, mentor junior team members.

What makes you excel in this position:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience with ABAP-OO, OData, REST.
• 2+ years of experience with SAPUI5 Freestyle Apps and FIORI Elements Apps.
• Extensive experience in designing and developing business applications.
• Proven track record in implementing and provisioning ABAP Cloud applications, especially with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Skilled in defining behaviors in managed and unmanaged scenarios.
• Proficient in creating and managing CDS views, business objects, and data modeling using Core Data Services.
• Knowledge of SAP Clean-Core Principles and transitioning ABAP Classic to ABAP Cloud applications.
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP); ABAP Runtime is a plus.
• Fluent in English; German is advantageous.
• Experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
