This position is based in Spain. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in Spain and possess at least a conversational level of Spanish to collaborate effectively with the team.

Job Title: Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (Frontend-Oriented)

We are seeking a passionate full-stack developer with a strong focus on frontend development to join our team. The ideal candidate has extensive experience building web applications end-to-end, with proven expertise in modern frontend frameworks, component architecture, and delivering polished user interfaces. Experience with backend development is also valuable, but frontend excellence is essential.

You will work closely with our Product and Tech teams to develop new features and enhance existing products, taking ownership of frontend quality and user experience.

While flexible hours and remote work are offered, this position is primarily remote with our offices located in Madrid. You will be expected to attend in-person meetings at least once every two months.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend features and user interfaces using modern frameworks and tools.
2. Contribute to backend development as needed, ensuring proper integration with frontend components and overall system performance.
3. Analyze product requirements, provide technical feedback, and estimate implementation efforts.
4. Adopt and promote frontend best practices, including component reusability, accessibility, performance optimization, and clean architecture.
5. Manage deployments across different environments, ensuring stability and traceability.
6. Write and maintain comprehensive end-to-end, unit, and integration tests for both frontend and backend code.
7. Collaborate with the tech team to plan and execute new features, technical improvements, and refactoring.
8. Document key technical decisions and implementations for internal reference and knowledge sharing.

The Skillset:

• 5+ years of software development experience, preferably in full-stack roles with a focus on frontend development.
• At least 3 years of experience with React in production environments.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript / TypeScript, component-based architecture, responsive design, and performance best practices.
• Experience with Node.js for backend development.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and building end-to-end features.
• Proficiency with tools such as Git (GitHub) and project management platforms like Jira.
• Effective communication skills in English; fluency in Spanish is a plus.
