Job Description: Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (Frontend-Oriented)

We are seeking a passionate full-stack developer with a strong focus on frontend development to join our team. The ideal candidate has extensive experience building web applications end-to-end, with proven expertise in modern frontend frameworks, component architecture, and delivering polished user interfaces. Backend experience is valuable but frontend excellence is essential.

You will work closely with our Product and Tech teams to develop new features and improve existing products, taking ownership of frontend quality and user experience.

While flexible hours and remote work are offered, this position is primarily remote with our offices in Madrid. In-person meetings are expected at least once every two months.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend features and user interfaces using modern frameworks and tools.
2. Contribute to backend development as needed, ensuring seamless integration with frontend components and system performance.
3. Analyze product requirements, provide technical feedback, and estimate implementation efforts.
4. Maintain frontend best practices, including component reusability, accessibility, performance, and clean architecture.
5. Manage deployments across different environments, ensuring stability and traceability.
6. Write and maintain end-to-end, unit, and integration tests for frontend and backend code.
7. Collaborate with the tech team to plan and implement new features, improvements, and refactoring.
8. Document key technical decisions and implementations for team knowledge sharing.

The Skillset

• 5+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on frontend development.
• At least 3 years of experience with React in production environments.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, component-based architecture, responsive design, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Node.js for backend development.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and building end-to-end features.
• Proficiency with tools such as Git (GitHub) and project management platforms like Jira.
• Effective communication skills in English; fluency in Spanish is a plus.
