You will work on developing and maintaining applications, including front-end interfaces and back-end services.

The team you will be a part of

You will work in the Machine Learning Products & APIs Team, where we build LanguageWire Translate, LanguageWire's machine translation (MT), along with adjacent services to monitor and predict its performance. We develop internal and external APIs and applications, constantly exploring state-of-the-art approaches and advancements in machine learning. Using a research-based approach and the latest technologies, we push ML boundaries to deliver innovative solutions.

You will collaborate closely with Full-Stack Engineers, QA Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, Data Engineers, and report to the team lead.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Developing and maintaining applications, front-end interfaces, back-end services, and databases
• Optimizing applications for performance, scalability, and security
• Identifying areas for improvement in the codebase and implementing best practices to enhance quality and maintainability

Desired experience and competencies

Qualifications :

• Master's degree in computer science
• Expertise in Python and TypeScript
• Experience with frameworks such as Angular or Vue
• Knowledge of web frameworks like FastAPI
• Proficiency with Google Cloud and Azure, including SQL and NoSQL databases
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Experience with automated testing tools like Playwright and Cypress

Preferred qualifications :

• Experience with Kubernetes (GKE), CI / CD pipelines, Terraform / Helm
• Knowledge of Scala and AI / machine learning concepts, including integration of AI functionalities into applications
