Bark is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer based in Spain to join the interactions squad. You’ll own frontend and backend work for the buyer journey, including AI-powered features, messaging, and notifications.

You’ll collaborate with product, design, data and mobile engineers to ship high-impact features and improve buyer conversion and satisfaction. The role emphasizes architectural decisions, responsible ownership, and a test-driven approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of Python in production.
• 3+ years of React experience.
• Strong full-stack capability, frontend and backend.
• Experience building scalable consumer web apps.
• Proficient SQL with MySQL; NoSQL familiarity helpful.
• Design, build and document APIs used by teams and apps.
• Product-minded with focus on user experience and conversion.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Comfort with AI-assisted development tools and guardrails.

Aufgaben

• Build elegant, performant APIs, services and frontend with Python and React/TypeScript.
• Develop core consumer services behind the buyer journey and integrate with billing and messaging.
• Integrate third-party platforms for in-app messaging and notifications.
• Design and ship AI-powered buyer/professional features from prototype to production.
• Measure impact using conversion, engagement and satisfaction metrics.
• Collaborate with product, design, data, and mobile engineers; run A/B tests.
• Own reliability: write tests and improve observability; investigate incidents.
• Propose improvements to codebase, data model and architecture.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices across the team.
• Evaluate emerging AI tools and help adopt with guardrails.
• Improve internal processes and stakeholder collaboration.
