We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our software development team focused on building an internal cloud-based actuarial solutions platform. The ideal candidate can independently design and develop API-driven web applications from concept to deployment, with a strong emphasis on cloud-first architecture. They should have deep knowledge of programming languages, frameworks, and modern deployment practices. This role involves solving complex technical challenges and effectively communicating solutions to stakeholders and developers.

Location:

100% remote for candidates based in Spain

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software development experience
• Proficiency in full stack tools covering frontend frameworks, databases, and deployments
• Experience with various programming languages
• Experience with Test-Driven Development
• Knowledge of database technologies (Relational / NoSQL)
• Experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, ECS, Step Functions, Batch)
• Fluent in English (B2+)

Must-Have Skills: Node.js, React, TDD, Relational/NoSQL databases, AWS

Nice-to-Have Skills: C#, Terraform, Docker, Linux Containers, Jenkins, Azure, Groovy, Python, Shell Scripting

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaboratively build and deploy effective applications with well-tested code
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support API-based systems focusing on industry best practices with a cloud-first approach
• Address complex technical problems with timely decisions
• Manage individual tasks and timelines independently
• Support legacy systems during new system launches and adoption
• Seek continuous quality improvements
• Mentor and coach teammates
• Perform other duties as assigned

Work Schedule: 10:00-19:00, Monday to Friday, aligned with US team hours
