Our client is a venture-funded startup founded by engineers from NASA, AWS, LinkedIn, Meta, MIT, and other top-tier institutions. They’re building a data intelligence platform focused on securing and optimizing the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with APIs and surface insights from the data platform
• Design and maintain both public and internal APIs
• Collaborate with the infrastructure team on cloud-native deployment (Kubernetes, GCP)
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews and mentor other engineers
• Contribute to hiring and technical culture

Backend Skills:

• Go (primary), Kotlin / Java / Python

Frontend Skills:

• TypeScript with any modern JS framework (Svelte is used, but React, Vue, Angular all accepted)

CI / CD:

• GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Docker

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with immutable data, Linux profiling, and open-source search systems
• Strong full-stack experience in modern web applications
• Production experience in Go (or strong motivation to learn quickly)
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL, and backend logic
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and CI / CD pipelines
• Ability to work independently and own complex features end to end
• Experience with developer tools or data platforms is a plus
• Pragmatic mindset, high technical standards, and product-oriented focus

Nice-to-Haves:

• Background in immutable data, distributed systems, or search infrastructure
• Advanced SQL query tuning and Linux optimization
• MSc or PhD in CS, Math, or Physics
