Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in semantic technologies to join one of our major pharmaceutical clients’ projects within the Supply Chain Knowledge Insights domain.
The project’s mission is to unify and organize external supply chain data into a centralized RDF-based Knowledge Graph, enhancing transparency, accessibility, and enabling innovative, data-driven solutions for the business.
This is a hands‑on, end‑to‑end position — from gathering business requirements to building pipelines, ontologies, and user‑facing tools. You will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and be supported by a Data Engineer, but you will take full technical ownership of the implementation.
Key Responsibilities - End-to-End Delivery :
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Design and build data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources (CSV, Parquet, APIs, etc.) using AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and related AWS services.
- Model supply chain concepts using RDFS / OWL, ensuring proper ontology alignment with business needs.
- Transform heterogeneous datasets into RDF using RML-based approaches.
- Develop standardized SPARQL queries, visualizations, and search functionalities to support business insights.
- Build user-friendly front‑end applications (search pages, dashboards, and visualizations) integrated into the Knowledge Graph platform.
- Ensure seamless user experience by embedding queries and visualizations directly in the front‑end tools.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Semantic Web technologies (RDFS, SPARQL, OWL).
- Strong proficiency in Python, SPARQL, SQL, and HTML.
- Experience building data integration solutions using AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, and S3.
- Familiarity with RML for data mapping.
- Experience with Web Development (HTML, API integration).
- Experience with Stardog or Metaphacts is a strong plus.
- Understanding of IDMP Ontology or related pharmaceutical data models is an advantage.
Soft Skills
- Ability to manage end‑to‑end implementation with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non‑technical teams.
- Structured, proactive, and solution‑oriented mindset.
- Capable of translating complex data models into intuitive, user‑friendly applications.
- Solid problem‑solving skills and business‑oriented thinking.
