The Role
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer who not only possesses exceptional technical skills but also has a strong desire and experience in mentoring and guiding other engineers. In this role, you will play a crucial part in both contributing decisively to our product and business growth and fostering the professional development of our team.
We believe that the combination of skills is key to being a great senior software engineer. We expect you to be passionate about frontend development and also excited about contributing to the backend and team processes.
About our team
We are a diverse 14-person strong technology team spread across Spain, led by our CTO Ruben Vilar. We work within 3 squads, and we collaborate closely with the product team, fostering good practices such as clean code, testing, extreme programming, pairing / mob programming.
At Zinklar we have built a robust organizational system that is constantly iterating, which allows us to adapt to the constant changes demanded by the industry and achieve the purpose we pursue. Our Frontend relies on ReactJS (v.18+, Redux, context, and hooks). The Backend is built with Node.js micro services deployed in Google Cloud through Kubernetes. We have some micro services using Typescript too. We use PostgreSQL for databases, Redis for caching, and RabbitMQ for event sourcing.

Salary and Benefits
Salary range between 50k and 60k + Annual Bonus, budget to spend on any learning material, courses or conferences, flexible schedules and remote flexibility, entry hour 8.00am-10.00am, 8.30h on Monday-Thursday, 6h on Friday, full-remote option for people out of Barcelona, 1 day in the office for people living in Barcelona, 1 or 2 annual events where attendance may be mandatory (in charge of the company), work-from-home setup, private health insurance, flexible compensation with Cobee, high growth, multicultural, and friendly environment.
Interview Process
Interview with the Engineering Manager and / or the Tech Lead, a short code challenge offline, live coding and Q&A about the code challenge.
