Senior Frontend Engineer (ReactJS)

We are JOIN, a team of 75 members from diverse backgrounds sharing a mission to democratise recruiting. Our core offering includes multiposting of job ads, enabled by partnerships with hundreds of European job platforms.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will develop this critical offering, playing a key role in JOIN's success. This is a unique opportunity to join our new Barcelona office early on, shaping the future of hiring and helping SMBs compete with larger companies.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams to create meaningful features using Agile SDLC/Kanban methodologies.
• Conduct peer code reviews and participate in retrospectives to improve team processes.
• Define requirements and propose optimal solutions to achieve team goals.
• Engage in technical discussions on testing, architecture, automation, and coding standards.
• Focus on product value and customer experience in your work.

Our Frontend Guild aims to provide a seamless UX, beautiful UI, and rich functionality, emphasizing collaboration, accessibility, security, and performance. We build a robust design system, write comprehensive tests, and prioritize stability.

Requirements include:

• 5+ years of frontend development experience with frameworks and UI libraries.
• 2+ years of experience with React.js and Redux.
• 2+ years of TypeScript experience.
• 2+ years of GraphQL experience.

Nice to have skills:

• Experience with JS/TS linters, webpack, babel, or other build tools.
• Experience with E2E testing frameworks like Cypress or Selenium.
• Experience building Design System components with Storybook.
• Experience with Monorepo architectures.
