Octopus Energy is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer in Barcelona or Valencia, Spain, to own frontend architecture for customer onboarding, private area, and billing features. You will collaborate with international teams across Europe, shaping fast-paced, customer-focused frontend solutions.

You will work primarily on frontend, with opportunities to explore backend work (Python/Django) and GraphQL integrations as needed.

Formación

• Strong, proven experience as a Senior Frontend Engineer with a solid grasp of modern frontend architecture.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and React.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js, ideally hosted on Vercel.
• Experience working with GraphQL as a data layer.
• CSS-in-JS solutions (PandaCSS a plus).
• Solid testing practices with Vitest, React Testing Library, and Playwright.
• Experience in a monorepo structure.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate internationally with Octopus Energy ES and global teams to develop and integrate new features.
• Own key product modules in the private area, bill management, saving sessions, onboarding optimization, and marketing dashboards from a frontend perspective.
• Deliver code with fast real-world impact and adapt priorities to user needs.
• Thrive in an agile culture with flat hierarchies and open collaboration.
• Be flexible to work across business areas and contribute to backend work (Python/Django) if interested.
