Octopus Energy in Barcelona/Valencia is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to own frontend architecture for customer onboarding, private area, and billing flows. You will collaborate with international teams across Europe and work mainly on frontend, with potential backend involvement.

You should have deep TypeScript/React expertise, Next.js experience (Vercel), GraphQL knowledge, and solid testing practices. Hybrid work options are available in Spain.

Formación

• Fluent spoken English is absolutely essential.
• Strong, proven experience as a Senior Frontend Engineer with solid frontend architecture.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and React.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js, ideally hosted on Vercel.
• Experience working with GraphQL as a data layer.
• Comfort with CSS-in-JS solutions (PandaCSS a plus).
• Solid testing practices using Vitest, React Testing Library, and Playwright.
• Experience working within a monorepo structure.
• A flexible, collaborative mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate internationally: Work with Octopus Energy ES and global teams to develop and integrate new frontend features.
• Own key product modules: private area, bill management, saving sessions, onboarding optimization, and marketing dashboards from a frontend perspective.
• Deliver frontend code with fast, real-world impact and quick feedback cycles.
• Thrive in an agile culture with flat hierarchies, openness, and creativity.
• Be open to crossing into backend tasks (Python/Django, GraphQL) if you have interest and skills.
• Join a diverse, collaborative environment where authentic communication is valued.
