The role

Position: 100% Remote (Spain, UK, Ireland, or Poland)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Frontend Developer who enjoys working with the latest technologies and practices and is eager to learn. You will join an engineering team of over 80 members dedicated to understanding and evolving our business support.

Our platform engineering approach focuses on building SoftwareOne’s online marketplace, client interfaces, internal integrations, and vendor relations to a world-class standard. We foster a blame-free, continuous improvement environment and promote a feedback culture that encourages new ideas and challenges existing ones.

• Lead by example – design and build scalable, high-performance React + TypeScript features that are easy to maintain.

• Own the architecture – guide micro-frontends, shared design systems, and component libraries.

• Partner with product – collaborate with Product Managers and Design Teams to translate business goals into actionable work slices.

• Guide the team – facilitate technical design sessions, conduct code reviews, run retrospectives, mentor engineers, and unblock progress.

• Maintain quality – implement unit testing (Jest, React Testing Library) and end-to-end testing (Playwright) within CI/CD pipelines.

• Ship safely – manage releases, oversee change management, and ensure smooth updates for customers.

• Work the process – utilize Scrum or Kanban, refine backlogs, and ensure continuous flow of work.

• Guard the repo – enforce git workflows, pull request checks, and maintain clear commit histories.

• Raise the bar – identify gaps, propose improvements, and promote modern web standards across teams.

What we need from you

• Proven experience as a staff, principal, or lead frontend engineer in a SaaS environment.

• Deep knowledge of React, TypeScript, single-page applications, and micro-frontends.

• Strong understanding of browser fundamentals, RESTful APIs, and web performance optimization.

• Ability to convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect screens and reusable components.

• Experience leading multi-team projects and mentoring engineers.

• Clear, direct communication skills and a bias for action in decision-making.

• Practical experience with Scrum or Kanban and solid git tooling skills.

• Nice to have: experience with GraphQL, design tokens, and cloud-based CI/CD.
