• 5+ Jahre Erfahrung als Frontend-Entwickler mit Expertenwissen in ReactJS und NextJS.

TransPerfect, a recognized leader in translation software with a vibrant start-up spirit, is seeking a creative and passionate Senior Frontend Developer to join our innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI) team. From its beginnings over 10 years ago and the creation of its first machine translation models, the AI team has become a core driver of the company's innovation in machine translation, generative AI, natural language processing, and automation.

We are looking for an experienced frontend developer who is excited about pushing the boundaries of technology and making a lasting impact within the AI space. You will be part of a diverse, global team of professionals across the USA, Spain, Portugal and India. About the Role:

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will lead on the frontend development of TransPerfect’s most popular product used by tens of thousands of users each month. In addition, you will be involved in the development of new AI-powered products. You will closely collaborate with UX/UI Designers, developers, product managers, and QA team to deliver cutting-edge products and ensure they add value for our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with the other members of the AI development team, designers, and product managers to create scalable, high-quality frontend solutions for new and existing products within the AI portfolio.
• Participating and taking the lead in architectural decisions related to frontend codebase.
• Providing mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
• Leading the improvement and optimization of the team’s existing frontend technology stack, code maintainability, and scalability to meet current and future requirements.
• Leading and enforcing best practices in code reviews, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained across the team.
• Working with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure the highest standards of functionality and usability across all product releases.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues, including providing bug fixes and support to customers as needed.

Skills and requirements:

• At least 5 years of work experience as a frontend developer.
• Expert knowledge of ReactJS/NextJS and ability to guide other developers in these frameworks.
• Strong experience in developing accessible software.
• Knowledge of Docker and Linux systems.
• Ability to design, plan, and implement complex frontend architectures, including micro-frontends or component libraries.
• Detail-oriented, responsive, and committed to quality, with a strong background writing unit tests.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• The ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologies.
• Ability to work independently in a changing environment.
• Analytical thinking.
• Good written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with others in a team environment.

Valued but not required skills and experience:

• Experience in serving as technical lead throughout the full software development lifecycle, from conception, architecture definition, detailed design, scoping, planning, implementation, testing to documentation, delivery, and maintenance is preferred.
• Interest in natural language processing, machine translation, and machine learning.
• Very Strong MongoDB, MariaDB, MySQL skills.
• Full-stack development skills (Python or GoLang).
• Experience in designing artificial intelligence solutions.
• Training or Experience as DevOps (private or public cloud).
• Strong experience working with CI/CD pipelines (like in TFS, Azure DevOps, Jenkins…) and Kubernetes.
• Experience developing applications regulated by CFR 21 Part 11 and GDPR.
• Experience working in the localization industry is an asset.
