This freelance opportunity is ideal for talented compositors based in Italy who are ready to work in fast-paced, high-end VFX environments.

Overview

As a Senior Compositor, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality shots that meet the visual and creative standards of the production. You’ll work closely with our VFX Supervisor and CG team, integrating 2D and 3D elements into live-action plates to ensure seamless photorealism.

This is a remote-friendly role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Create high-end, photorealistic compositing work for complex shots
2. Collaborate with the VFX Supervisor and production team to meet project deadlines and creative goals
3. Integrate CG elements, perform clean-up, roto, and tracking where needed
4. Manage shot continuity and look development across sequences
5. Identify and solve creative or technical issues proactively
6. Maintain consistent quality and workflow standards

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional compositing experience in commercials, music videos, or film / TV
• Proficiency with Nuke (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of color space, grading, and image integration
• Attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and in a team
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Must be eligible to work in the European Union
