You will lead the technical definition and design of FPGAs for satellite-based units that position and connect anyone and anything, everywhere, helping to observe our planet and optimize the use of our planet's resources and even spacecraft to discover the universe!

You will lead FPGA developments in VHDL for space applications processing units:

1. Design
2. Verification
3. Support to Validation

Documentation

The activity is involved in a multidisciplinary team, with the opportunity to participate in international engineering teams.

Education & Qualification:

Master's degree in industrial engineering, aerospace engineering, telecommunication engineering, software engineering, physics, mathematics or other similar technical discipline.

We are looking for a candidate with:

1. At least 7 years of experience, 3 of them in the space sector
2. Understanding of technical requirements and definition of technical solutions.
3. VHDL / Verilog simulation (pre-synthesis & post-layout verification).
4. Design synthesis and implementation / place and route
5. Support to Design validation
6. Preparation of design documentation
7. Design Reviews with customer

Skills:

1. VHDL, Verilog and System Verilog
2. Simulation with ModelSim / Questa Core
3. Synthesis with Synplify / Vivado
4. Implementation / place and route with Vivado / Libero
5. Version control (e.g. Git)

Skills to make the difference:

1. MATLAB / Simulink, C programming experience, Python, Perl
2. Knowledge of microprocessors development environment
3. Knowledge of Data Processing
4. Teamwork, improvement spirit, pragmatic, results-oriented, dynamic, responsible
5. Responsible for technical performances, cost and schedule of the solution
6. Motivated to learn new technologies, and space-business processes and tools
7. French
