Formación

  • 6+ years in Financial Planning, Accounting, or Auditing.
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling and performance analysis.
  • Experience in management reporting is essential.

BUNGE has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior FP&A Analyst . This role is a core part of the business, focusing on Analysis and Decision support, Forecasting, and Special Projects. It involves analyzing operational and financial data to align strategies with financial goals, identify improvement opportunities, and evaluate progress. Reporting to the CFO of Bunge Iberica, the Senior FP&A Analyst will participate in forecasting and analysis to support decisions and share best practices in analysis & reporting.

Note : Ideally, you are located in Barcelona, but relocations are considered.

Main responsibilities :

  • Support to Commercial Leads, Plant Managers, and CFO in market analysis, margin monitoring, and decision-making support. Challenge assumptions and participate in strategy development.
  • Lead the preparation of the Industrial Business Plan and monthly forecasts.
  • Analyze results monthly, identify deviations, and support management in addressing issues and opportunities.
  • Reconcile estimates with accounting, ensure accuracy in PNL impacts, and improve operating working capital management. Submit KPIs reports.
  • Establish strong stakeholder connectivity across teams.
  • Prepare structured reports for senior management, including performance calls and reviews.
  • Generate monthly reports per group instructions.
  • Control costs, analyze plant expenses, identify root causes, and monitor trends.
  • Work proactively with plant stakeholders on cost deviations and savings.
  • Support finance team with accruals for variable costs.
  • Assist projects in automation, process rebuilding, and system improvements (e.g., Tableau, SAP).
  • Analyze new business opportunities and prepare project applications for Capex approval.

Desired skills and experience :

  • Approximately 6 years’ experience in Financial Planning, Accounting, or Auditing with reporting background.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Experience in management reporting and supporting management functions.
  • Exposure to commodity trading, derivatives, MTM, FX, and market risk is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering.
  • Languages : English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and other information systems is advantageous.
