An established industry player is seeking a Senior Food Technician to enhance food safety and quality in poultry products. This role involves monitoring sensory and microbiological quality, validating food products, and collaborating with suppliers to ensure compliance with client standards. Formación

  • 1+ year experience in chicken product manufacturing or poultry sensory assessment.
  • High level of English (C1 minimum) and experience in foreign-speaking countries.

We’re looking for a Senior Food Technician based in Madrid to work on multidisciplinary projects aimed at enhancing food safety, quality, profitability, and related areas.

Functionalities:

  1. Monitors sensory, physical, chemical, and microbiological quality criteria in poultry-based food items, considering standards set by retail/QSR clients and applicable regulations from origin and destination countries.
  2. Records data and results into systems, generating appropriate reports.
  3. Monitors quality criteria in other product categories, considering client standards and regulations.
  4. Performs initial validation of food products to assess compliance with specifications and evaluates product performance per client requirements.
  5. Creates poultry product guides focusing on sensory and physical standards for both fresh and processed items.
  6. Detects non-conformities in tested products and communicates with suppliers to identify causes and corrective actions.

Requisitos

  • BSc or MSc in Food Science, Chemistry, Biological Science, Veterinary Science, Nutrition, or related Life Science field.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in chicken product manufacturing, new product development, or poultry sensory and laboratory assessment.
  • High level of English, CAE (C1) minimum required. At least 6 months studying or working in foreign-speaking countries.
  • Expected to travel 50% of the time within the EMEA region.
