About the Role : We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Associate to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting or finance who is eager to contribute to day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and compliance in a dynamic and international environment. You will support financial processes across multiple areas including accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and internal reporting.

The role is based in

Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. Infinni Innovations is proud to be part of the

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and assist in maintaining accurate general ledger records
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, internal reports, and variance analysis
  • Monitor and support accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of expense reports and vendor payments
  • Help maintain financial documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
  • Participate in the development and improvement of financial processes and internal controls
  • Assist in the coordination of audits and respond to audit inquiries as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, HR, Product) to support business needs

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with NetSuite ERP Software Suite is a significant value add
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish is of significant value

Nice to Have :

  • Experience working in a tech, fintech, or SaaS company
  • Knowledge of local Spanish accounting / tax practices
  • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or financial planning processes
  • Familiarity with international financial operations (e.g., multi-currency, intercompany transactions, payment processing)
