Job summary

Novutech is seeking a Senior Finance Accountant to own day-to-day accounting across the Group, with NetSuite at the core of our ecosystem. You will drive automation, scalability, and AI adoption within finance operations, reporting to the Finance Manager across European entities.

You will build robust controls, shorten the close cycle, and implement automated workflows using NetSuite and integrated apps. This is a high-impact, hybrid role in a fast-growing, multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, multi-entity and international context preferred.
• Hands-on with NetSuite including supplier bills, journals, reconciliations, fixed assets, period close, and reporting.
• Strong understanding of core accounting, month-end close, VAT, payroll accounting, intercompany accounting.
• Experience with payment platforms (Embat/Payhawk/Upflow) and external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Own core accounting execution in NetSuite across all Group entities with timely, compliant records.
• Process supplier bills, payroll-related bills, contractor invoices, Payhawk transactions.
• Prepare month-end journals including accruals, amortisation, allocations, payroll entries, fixed assets.
• Maintain audit-proof balance sheet reconciliations; investigate differences monthly.
• Design automated booking quality controls and uphold strong internal controls.
• Drive a structured month-end close calendar in line with governance.
• Lead automation initiatives to reduce manual work and improve reconciliation.
