Drives the overall conduct of feasibility by providing robust data driven feasibility intelligence optimizing integrated strategic approach to deliver the right countries, sites and enrolment scenario plan for new business opportunities (including but not limited to Requests for Information, Proposal) and study awards.

2. Responsibilities :

  1. Define and confirm the feasibility strategy and tasks with Sponsor and/or BD for each assigned opportunity requiring feasibility assessment.
  2. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Business Development (BD) personnel, Medical and Scientific Lead, Global Project Director (GPD), Global Feasibility Specialist (GFS), and all other relevant parties to support the feasibility assessment for new business opportunities requiring feasibility.
  3. Support and assure that Global Feasibility Specialist elicit quality input from and coordinate activities with all the stakeholders in the feasibility process including Country Clinical Operations Representatives (Clinical Operations), Medical, Regulatory, and Project Management team as applicable.
  4. Analyse and interpret all data (including but not limited to local treatment standard of care, available treatment options approved/reimbursed, local incidence/prevalence of disease, access to targeted patient population, drug landscape, historical/current clinical trial landscape, etc.) to influence and inform protocol development, operational plans, and establish a geographic country footprint and site tiering for participation in a clinical study.
  5. Integrate curated data and leverage analytics tools to provide clear feasibility recommendations to define the optimal country/site/patient delivery strategy for a particular study, including identification of key challenges and areas of opportunity.
  6. Ensure intelligence from other functional leads are integrated, communicated and/or presented clearly in proposal text and/or presentation slides to showcase data driven feasibility decisions regarding overall study delivery recommendations.
  7. Provide overall recommendations on the countries, number of sites and projected number of patients resulting from collaborative discussions noted above designed to meet or exceed client stated goals.
  8. Based on feasibility intelligence, determine and develop risk management strategies highlighting feasibility-related operational risks and mitigation actions.
  9. Identify and develop alternative scenarios to client initial recommendations resulting from the completed feasibility assessment.
  10. If needed, prepare for and attend Bid Defense Meetings (remotely or in person); actively participate with cross-functional teams that plan, analyse, and present proposals and/or bid defense as part of winning new business and maintaining good client relations.
  11. Develop and/or review feasibility intelligence considerations in proposal document and feasibility reports (feasibility considerations are information that detail the strategy, actions, timelines and the cost of conducting feasibility, and feasibility reports are documents that describe the outcomes of feasibility exercise).
  12. Oversee overall feasibility activities assigned to the team ensuring that customer service (internal & external customers), timelines & quality expectations are met and/or exceeded.
  13. For Standalone or Paid Feasibility, work with the BD and BDPC to determine costing of conducting a stand-alone feasibility assessment, if applicable.
  14. Lead standalone/paid feasibility by overseeing project deliverables, managing timelines, working within the confines of the budget and managing customer satisfaction.
  15. Maintain records and/or documentation of feasibility activities and ensure document filing compliance of feasibility related documents into internal libraries and databases.
  16. Ensure that all feasibility related information and documents in the pre-award stage are completely and seamlessly transitioned/handed over to post-award project team as required.
  17. Initiate or lead in the identification of new data sources and databases, development of new analytical approaches, and/or the development of new tools and/or feasibility dashboards and materials to support the feasibility process.
  18. Serve as a mentor to other Global Feasibility members and throughout the company as appropriate.

3. Qualifications :

  1. A bachelor's degree or higher in a pharmaceutical related field is required.
  2. Over 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with more than 5 years of experience in global feasibility.
  3. Experience in team management is required, with a preference for candidates who have assisted in establishing teams or departments.
  4. Candidates with experience working in global companies, especially those with experience in global CROs are preferred.
  5. The candidate should be dedicated to their job, good at communicating and collaborating with the team.
  6. Fluency in both Chinese and English is required.
