Companies within the Everfield ecosystem operate under a decentralised model, maintaining their teams, brands, and offices, while focusing on product development and customer support. Everfield supports these companies in talent acquisition, HR, and offers access to a team of experts in building and growing European B2B SaaS companies, providing consulting on financial and operational topics.

As a Managing Director (MD), you will lead one of Everfield's portfolio companies in the European SaaS market, serving as a key leader responsible for driving strategic growth and operational excellence. Reporting to Everfield's senior leadership, you will oversee the strategy, financial performance, and operational success of your business unit, ensuring alignment with Everfield's growth philosophy and leadership competencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Align business strategy with Everfield's overarching mission, focusing on scalability, market penetration, and sustainable growth.
  2. Evaluate market trends to position the company ahead of industry shifts.
  3. Collaborate with Everfield’s senior leadership to identify growth opportunities, including new revenue streams, market expansion, and product innovation.
  4. Build, inspire, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and foster a culture of innovation.
  5. Lead organizational change initiatives and cultural transformation, coaching teams towards excellence.
  6. Develop leadership presence with potential to progress into a Portfolio Leader role, managing multiple business units.
  7. Manage financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  8. Work closely with the finance team to oversee P&L and ensure compliance with financial controls.
Commercial Execution:
  1. Partner with sales and marketing teams to optimize pricing, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.
  2. Utilize market expertise to drive commercial success and create competitive advantage.
Communications & Stakeholder Management:
  1. Present company performance and strategic plans to the board and investors, ensuring clear communication.
  2. Lead initiatives to improve team performance, product delivery, and customer value, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications include significant experience as a CEO, Managing Director, or senior executive in a fast-growing SaaS or tech company, with a proven ability to scale operations, lead cross-functional teams, and manage financial health. Deep understanding of SaaS business models and strategic planning, along with strong communication skills, are essential. The role offers impact over the growth of a European SaaS business and autonomy supported by Everfield’s experts. It provides a unique opportunity to develop leadership capabilities through coaching and mentoring other Managing Directors. The position features a hybrid working arrangement across Western Europe, with regular in-person visits to offices.
