Senior Events Project Manager - Barcelona - Madrid

With a current headcount of 76 people across our offices in Spain, and with a vision to attract, develop, and retain the most talented people in the industry, we are looking for a new Senior Project Manager to join our team. The position would suit a Tourism professional who is excited to participate in a wide range of responsibilities in the sector and be part of our exciting growth.
Educational background and experience:
- Graduated in Business, Marketing, or Tourism
- Experience in a similar position within the events industry (including corporate travel, managing small events and VIP services)
- Amadeus/Sabre System knowledge, at least in ticketing and reimbursements
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience working with GDS

Languages:
- Fluent in English, Spanish, and Catalan. An oral and written test will be required.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the preparation and follow-up of team responsibilities and tasks
- Support event production, including technical and operational planning, ensuring compliance with vendor policies
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, manage financial claims, and ensure timely monthly closures
- Prepare and deliver documentation to clients, respond to inquiries, meet deadlines, and manage claims
- Standardize procedures, promote new technologies, and oversee process improvements
- Contribute to cost reduction analyses and staff training
- Foster team motivation and positive work environment, promote interdepartmental relationships
- Identify needs for new resources and contribute to maintenance plans
