NTT DATA is seeking an experienced Data Communications SME to lead design and implementation of enterprise network infrastructures in Madrid. The role emphasizes high availability, performance optimization, security, and collaboration with Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, and Application teams.

You will guide modernization initiatives, perform capacity planning, troubleshoot complex issues, and help define standards, procedures, and documentation across global projects.

Formación

• Typically 8+ years of experience in Network Infrastructure, Data Communication, and Enterprise Networking.
• Strong experience in designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting large-scale enterprise network environments.
• Experience supporting LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, Wireless Networking, Network Security technologies, Data Center, and Cloud Connectivity solutions.
• Hands-on expertise with leading network technologies and platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Huawei, Fortinet, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, and routing/switching concepts.
• Strong understanding of Data Center networking architectures.
• Experience in network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of network redundancy, high availability, and disaster recovery concepts.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure solutions.
• Provide subject matter expertise for LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and Data Center networking technologies.
• Lead network transformation and modernization initiatives.
• Perform network capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and drive root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, and Application teams to ensure seamless connectivity and service delivery.
• Support network security implementations including firewalls, NAC, segmentation, and secure access solutions.
• Develop network architecture, standards, operational procedures, and technical documentation.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Evaluate new networking technologies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
