ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Enterprise Business Architect supports the Head of Enterprise Architecture in defining and implementing strategies, frameworks, and best practices that enable business transformation and leverage Business and IT capabilities to enhance STADA’s digital foundations.

This role demands a proactive and results-driven professional who can effectively drive architectural decisions, in particular in the areas of Manufacturing and IoT Technologies. You will be responsible for driving initiatives with a strong focus on outcomes, aligning with the STADA’s strategic objectives and delivering measurable value.

This position requires an experienced professional who can navigate the complexities of IoT Solutions and contribute to the development and implementation of IoT Initiatives promoting the integration of IT and OT systems and processes and ensuring the alignment of business and technical architectures. Bring consistency across domains and ensure a forward-looking Target Architecture.

RESPONSABILITIES

• Lead the design, development and integration of IoT Solutions, encompassing device connectivity, data acquisition, edge computing and cloud-based IoT Platforms. Provide guidance and direction to ensure the successful execution of business architecture initiatives, support, and governance with focus on Manufacturing and IoT Technologies.
• Collaborate with Business and other IT groups on designing solutions based on IoT generated data for advanced analytics, visualization and actionable insights, with a focus on driving informed decision making and process optimization regarding operational processes, supply chains and facility management.
• Apply and adapt business architecture frameworks, methodologies, and standards to the IoT and Manufacturing domains. Establish a coherent and consistent approach for creating, documenting, and maintaining business architecture artifacts, including business models, value streams, capabilities, and requirements.
• Participate in the business architecture governance processes to review and approve business architecture decisions, standards, and solutions. Document and communicate business architecture reviews and assessments to identify risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among business and IT stakeholders, including solution and domain architects, project teams, and business. Develop and deliver training programs and workshops to enhance business architecture capabilities.
• Support the vision, mission, goals, and objectives of Enterprise Architecture. Provide support to ensure the successful execution of enterprise architecture initiatives, support, processes, and governance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Ability to assess business needs and opportunities and translate them into enterprise architecture solutions that align with the organizational vision and goals.
• Solid understanding of IoT architecture, protocols, standards and best practices with hands-on experience in developing end-to-end Solutions and a proactive approach to addressing IoT-specific challenges and vulnerabilities.
• Proven experience in driving initiatives using an outcome-based approach, with a track record of delivering quantifiable business value and positive impact.
• Expertise in IoT and manufacturing domains, including smart devices, sensors, data analytics, cloud computing, automation, and Industry 4.0 principles.
• Proven track record of leading and managing complex enterprise architecture projects and initiatives, involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in relevant Business Architecture function supporting Manufacturing and IoT Technologies.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, practices, and industry frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, etc) as well as IoT development frameworks, platforms and languages (e.g., MQTT, etc)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate alternative approaches and recommend optimal solutions.
