Pleo is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Decision Intelligence team, overseeing real-time fraud, AML, and risk decisioning. You will drive a data- and ML-driven platform, balancing security and user experience at scale.

You will build and mentor high-performing engineers, shape the organisation as it grows, and partner with Compliance, Risk, and Security leadership to ensure robust governance and AI-native practices across the payments domain.

Formación

• Track record of leading and growing engineering teams with clear ownership of delivery health and people development.
• Domain judgment in fraud, risk, financial crime, trust & safety, or other real-time decisioning domains.
• Understanding of latency budgets, false-positive/false-negative trade-offs and regulatory weight.
• Experience with data pipelines, model-driven decisioning, and modern fraud capability architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Own the delivery, quality, and technical direction of the fraud and risk decisioning platform and the teams building it.
• Set the technical vision for fast, accurate, explainable fraud detection at scale.
• Build a focused, high-performing team with clear ownership and growth paths.
• Mentor engineers and tech leads, setting competency expectations and career paths.
• Drive AI-native workflows and ensure quality and safety of AI-assisted work in fintech.
