Pleo is seeking a Senior Transaction Monitoring and Fraud Framework Specialist in Madrid to lead the architecture of our defence strategy across transaction surveillance and fraud. You will drive innovation, embed AI into detection and prevention, and coordinate cross-functional teams to design scalable controls that adapt to evolving threats and regulatory expectations.

• Significant experience designing and improving transaction monitoring and fraud frameworks in scaling, high-volume environments.
• Proven track record leading innovation in monitoring approaches, automation, analytics, or AI-enabled workflows.
• Experience running projects with cross-functional delivery and stakeholder management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead innovations in transaction monitoring and fraud by identifying automation opportunities and AI-assisted workflows.
• Manage end-to-end change and delivery projects across 1LoD/2LoD, Operations, Product, Engineering, and Data.
• Design and maintain financial crime frameworks, controls, and procedures that scale with growth.
• Partner with Engineering on rules/models lifecycle, performance, drift detection, and tuning.
• Integrate AI tools to improve alert triage, investigation quality, and documentation.
• Turn insights into concrete improvements, reduce false positives, and cover complex typologies.
