Pleo is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead Decision Intelligence, responsible for real-time fraud, AML and risk decisioning, delivering milliseconds-fast judgments. You will build and scale teams, set the technical vision, and partner with Compliance and Security to ensure robust governance and safety.

You will grow engineers, champion AI-native practices, and shape the organisation as it expands into multiple teams across ML, real-time decisioning and risk operations.

Formación

• Proven track record leading engineering teams with delivery ownership.
• Domain judgment in fraud, risk, financial crime or real-time decisioning.
• Technical depth in data pipelines, models, and ML infrastructure.
• Experience with build-vs-buy in high-stakes, regulated systems.
• Strong people management and coaching abilities.
• Familiarity with AI-native development tools and workflows.
• Excellent cross-functional communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Own the delivery, quality, and technical direction of the fraud and risk decisioning platform.
• Set the technical vision for fast, accurate, and explainable decisioning at scale.
• Build a focused, high-performing team with clear ownership and priorities.
• Directly manage and grow engineers and tech leads with clear growth paths.
• Drive AI-native ways of working and ensure AI safety in fintech contexts.
• Partner with Compliance, Risk, and Security leadership to align on governance.
• Scale Decision Intelligence into multiple teams and define future specialist roles.
