Merlin Digital Partner is seeking a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to join a HealthTech client’s engineering team. You will advance embedded software, device connectivity and system architecture, while contributing to backend services, cloud infrastructure and internal tools.

You’ll work with Product, Hardware, Backend, AI and Data teams to deliver scalable solutions, owning features end-to-end from concept to production, and mentoring peers along the way.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with embedded systems.
• Strong C/C++ and Python development skills.
• Linux-based embedded software experience and Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with Qt5 for embedded/desktop apps and Yocto or similar build systems.
• Experience with BLE, UART, SPI, I2C, MQTT, TCP/IP and HTTP/REST protocols.
• Designing REST APIs and working with Docker, containers and CI/CD pipelines.
• Git-based collaborative workflows and software engineering best practices.
• Professional English level and availability to work partly on-site.

Responsabilidades

• Develop embedded software for connected devices with reliability and performance.
• Design hardware-software and backend communication interfaces.
• Build REST APIs and internal tools, primarily in Python.
• Contribute to system architecture across embedded, backend and cloud.
• Own features end-to-end from design to production and deployment.
• Mentor engineers and shape engineering standards as the platform scales.
