Merlin Digital Partner in Barcelona is seeking an Installation & Deployment Specialist to own end-to-end deployments of connected devices for HealthTech customers. The role is hands-on and field-oriented, involving site assessments, equipment installation, testing and training.

You will coordinate site adaptations, read technical drawings, perform commissioning and build a knowledge base for installers across locations. Travel to customer sites and strong English are required.

Formación

• 3+ years of hands-on installation/field service experience at customer sites.
• Solid knowledge of plumbing, water supply and drainage systems.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and ability to identify installation requirements.
• Basic understanding of Ethernet, Wi-Fi and device connectivity.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/plans.
• Strong hands-on skills with tools and equipment.
• Experience with commissioning, validation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to explain technical concepts and train others.

Responsabilidades

• Perform pre-installation site assessments to evaluate technical requirements and feasibility.
• Review water supply, drainage, electricity, connectivity and space before deployment.
• Identify issues and define adaptations before installation.
• Prepare pre-installation checklists and technical documentation for customers/contractors.
• Coordinate site adaptations involving plumbing, electrical work or external providers.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and installation documentation.
• Physically install connected equipment at customer locations.
• Complete connections for water, drainage, electricity and network connectivity.
• Configure equipment and ensure communication with the digital platform.
• Perform functional tests, commissioning and final validation before handover.
• Troubleshoot issues in the field and propose solutions.
• Train customers and internal teams on operation of the system.
• Create and maintain installation procedures, documentation and guides.
• Document incidents and build a technical knowledge base.
• Support and train new installers; gradually own external installer network.
• Audit external installations for quality and technical standards.
• Provide technical support to installers during deployments.
• Help decide which installations can be handled by external partners.
