Formación

Systems Engineer – ARM Cortex | Embedded Automation | Hybrid – Barcelona

Are you ready to transform how consumer devices interact with the world?

We’re hiring a Systems Engineer to join our client's dynamic team in Barcelona (Hybrid) , contributing to the development of advanced automation systems in the consumer electronics space. From motor control to sensor fusion, your work will directly impact the intelligence and performance of next-gen automated products.

Your Role

  • Design and implement embedded control systems based on ARM Cortex-M / A platforms
  • Develop and integrate real-time firmware for automation features such as actuator control, motor drivers, and sensor management
  • Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, and software teams to ensure seamless product integration
  • Define and tune system behavior across low-power, high-performance embedded applications
  • Work with sensors (IMUs, temperature, pressure, proximity) and actuators (motors, solenoids)
  • Ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency through rigorous validation and edge-case testing

Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in embedded C / C++ and deep knowledge of ARM Cortex-M / A architecture
  • Experience with automation algorithms , control systems , or signal processing
  • Familiar with real-time operating systems (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr)
  • Strong understanding of communication interfaces : I2C, SPI, UART, PWM, CAN
  • Hands-on debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and hardware tools
  • Bonus : experience with state machines , model-based design , or Simulink / Matlab

Location & Setup

  • Hybrid role based in Barcelona, Spain
  • Flexible remote work with onsite presence for hardware testing and integration
